The bicycle valve nipple 8/7 made of nickel-plated brass is a hose attachment that allows easy filling of flash valves (Dunlop). The plug features a self-closing ""closed end"" function after removing the tyre valve, so that no more air can escape. The closed mechanism is used for the direct air supply from a main line (e.g. compressor). When plugged into the valve, the plug is opened, so that the air can flow into the tyre.
