WHAT IS TYRE SEALANT?
Tyre Sealant is a liquid, Mono Propylene Glycol, water
based (gel) puncture sealant that is injected into tubeless,
pneumatic tires that offers puncture protection for
the life of the tire.
After Tyre Sealant has been installed, if the tire encounters
a puncture, air pressure inside the tire forces the
sealant into the wound forming an instant and permanent
repair.
The glycol base makes it a very consistent sealant which
will not freeze, separate, or dry out under adverse
conditions. In addition, because the glycol base is mixed
with more than 20 ingredients to produce the formula,
it makes Tyre Sealant the most advanced Tyre Sealant
available on the market. Tyre Sealant withstands heat,
cold and centrifugal forces that are imposed on sealants
following installation in the tire.
It takes only a small amount of Tyre Sealant to repair a
puncture, therefore there will be enough material left
inside the tire to remain effective against many more punctures to come!
TYRE SEALANT – HOW DOES IT WORK?
As the tire rotates, centrifugal force evenly spreads
Tyre Sealant over the entirety of the internal tread
area, coating the area with a minimum 2mm coating
of sealant. The coating repairs leaks immediately a
penetration occurs as thousands of strong interlocking
fibres react instantly sealing around the puncturing
object thus preventing loss of air.
In addition to repairing tread puncture wounds,

How does it seal punctures?
Tyre Sealant forms a thin protective coating between the tyre and the air within the tyre. When a puncturing object penetrates the tyre, air pressure forces the sealant into the wound repairing the damage instantly.
