The balancing weight must fit the rim shape, whereby a distinction is made between the rim design and rim flange shape. Then place the balancing weight on the rim to check the fit.Then place the balancing weight in the required position on the steel or aluminium rim. Before hitting the weight, make sure that the clip is correctly positioned on the rim flange.Once the weight is correctly aligned, it is struck with a suitable mounting tool (balancing weight tongues or Hammer). For mounting the impact weights, a maximum of two strong blows should be applied. Increasing the stroke rate can damage the coating of the balancing weights.Afterwards, only check whether the balancing weight is firmly seated on the rim!
Select weight
Select the appropriate impact weight according to the required grammage and specifications for your rim. Place the weight on the rim before installation to check the fit.
Place weight
Place the weight in the center of the notch. It is held securely in place by the magnet. Make sure that the clip is correctly positioned on the rim flange before attaching the weight.
Apply weight
Hold the impact aid perpendicular to the rim flange. A maximum of two strong blows should be used for mounting. This ensures that the coating of the weight is not impaired.
